Part of the Obamacare law is to require that the states set up health insurance “exchanges” for people to buy their health insurance. This law was modeled after the Massachusetts law that created the “CONNECTOR” (the exchange in Mass). Since the federal legislation mandating exchanges was modeled after the Massachusetts Connector it is only fair to see what has happened since 2006 in Massachusetts since the law went into effect. As suspected the far left in Minnesota is rearing its ugly head again. People in our State as well as those all over the country have expressed their concern over the government overstepping its bounds by the passing of Obamacare. Now some of the chief gubernatorial candidates have decided for us that not only is Obamacare what we ought to have but that they will if elected in November install a SINGLE PAYOR SYSTEM similar to the British or failing Canadian system.
